🚨 Hiring – Sr. Software Engineer (Python - Remote)
💼 Position: Sr. Software Engineer (Python)
📍 Location: Lahore – Remote (Must be based in Lahore)
💰 Salary: Rs. 300,000 – Rs. 400,000 per month

Requirements:
• Must be fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years hands-on experience in backend and/or full-stack development with proven track record of delivering high-quality software
• Experience with Git, code reviews, automated testing, Docker, and CI/CD workflows
• Ability to collaborate with designers and product teams, communicate trade-offs & break requirements into manageable deliverables
• Development Lifecycle: Proven ability to contribute across entire SDLC – planning, design, coding, testing, deployment & maintenance
Backend Skills:
• Proficiency in Python & backend frameworks: Django, FastAPI or Flask
• Strong understanding of database design, RDBMS concepts & SQL. Familiarity with ORM tools (PostgreSQL/MySQL, SQLAlchemy)
• Knowledge of RESTful API design & integration
• Proficiency in testing tools – Pytest / Unittest, RESPX / VCR.py / responses, e2e (Cucumber / Cypress / Playwright)
• Understanding of API & browser security – OAuth 2.0/OIDC, secure cookies, CORS, CSRF, XSS, server-side access controls
• Proficient in designing & developing microservices-based applications – Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka / RabbitMQ, inter-service communication
Frontend Skills:
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Typescript (ES6+) & responsive design principles
• Expertise in modern Typescript frameworks – React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Proficiency in testing tools – Cucumber, Cypress, Jest / Jasmine
• 1+ years experience with accessibility (A11y):
○ Use semantic HTML and correct ARIA roles/attributes
○ Ensure full keyboard navigation & proper focus management
○ Build accessible forms with labels, error states & screen reader support
○ Announce dynamic updates using live regions (aria-live, role="status")
Preferred Certifications:
• Relevant certifications in web accessibility, cloud development, or software engineering
Note: Equivalent tooling is welcome; proficiency in every listed library or cloud platform is not required.
